If exhibit design involves printing to many unusual substrates, printing for repro is a variation of the same process, and every bit as innovative. From my first summer job as a 16 year old in a litho print firm, I’m well versed in the whole process from creating design work, sourcing the most suitable stock for the job, to overseeing special finishes (such as die cuts or foil embossing) and working with digital and litho printing. Good working relationships, built up over the years with reliable print specialists, goes a long way towards helping a job run smoothly.
